The Tri-State is heating back up, as College Football is all the way back! All of our college teams played their opener this weekend, with all but two picking up wins. On top of that, the Reds had a winning week, and more! Check it all out below!

Bengals
Cincinnati spent this week preparing for their week one match-up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That game is THIS Sunday at 1 p.m., meaning we have officially made it to NFL season! I (Charlie) am lucky enough to be able to attend that game, meaning there will be live coverage on my X/Twitter @SSM_CL!
FC Cincinnati
FCC had one game scheduled this week against D.C. United. However, that game was postponed due to weather.
Despite having no matches this week, FCC managed to stay busy.
They retooled their squad before the transfer window closed, adding Czech winger David Doudera from Slavia Prague and Argentine center back Julian Malatini on loan from Werder Bremen. To free up cap space and open a roster spot for these moves, the club is parting ways with veteran center back Matt Miazga following his recent injury struggles.
This week, Cincinnati travels to Philadelphia on Wednesday and hosts Charlotte on Saturday.
Reds
The Reds went 4-2 this week, winning series against the Padres (2-1) and Brewers (2-1).
Headlines of the week:
-The Reds won a series against the Brewers at home for the first time in four years.
-Cincinnati put up a whopping 12 runs on Sunday, highlighted by a four RBI-day for Elly De La Cruz.
-Rumors are being floated around that the Reds could put down 700 million dollars on a 13 year-deal to lock down De La Cruz in Cincinnati. Do you think Elly is worth that much money?
This week, the Reds face off with the Dodgers and Brewers on the road.
