06/23 – The Bearcats continued adding to their recruiting board on by extending an offer to 2027 four-star PG Antonio Pemberton.
06/24 – During an appearance on the One and Done Podcast, Calhoun revealed that Cincinnati is working to finalize a home-and-home series with a Big Ten opponent. While no school was named, the matchup would be another great addition to the Bearcats future schedules. Shoutout to @bearcatbunch, he’s a great follow on X.
06/24 – Four-star guard Payton Jones shared photos from his official visit to Cincinnati on Instagram, giving fans a look at his photoshoot in Bearcat threads.
06/24 – Former Bearcat Baba Miller officially heard his name called in the 2026 NBA Draft on June 24, becoming the latest Cincinnati player to reach the NBA since Jacob Evans, after an outstanding season. Selected in the 2nd round with the 36th pick, by the Clippers.
06/24 – Transfers MJ Collins Jr. and Kolby King officially filed their lawsuit in Ohio on June 24 in an effort to regain an additional season of eligibility. If the case is successful, both players intend to join Cincinnati’s roster for the upcoming season.
06/25 –The Bearcats opened the doors to media for summer practice on June 25, giving an early look at Jerrod Calhoun’s program in action. We included drill work, and takeaways in our full article, complete with photos. Four-star target Joshua Tyson was also spotted at practice, all smiles while chatting with Calhoun, while Bearcat commit Kam Mercer was seen on the court getting shots up and interacting with the team. Again, a quick thank you to the University of Cincinnati Athletics department for inviting us out!
06/25 – College basketball insider Jon Rothstein reported on June 25 that the 2026 ESPN Events Invitational will shift to a showcase format rather than a traditional tournament bracket. Cincinnati will join Boston College, Georgia, and UCF in the event.
06/26 – Jerrod Calhoun made the trip to Midwest Live to watch several of Cincinnati’s recruiting targets, including Kam Mercer (commit), Joshua Tyson, and Isaiah Mack-Russell, as the Bearcats continue to build relationships on the recruiting trail.
06/28 – Adlan Elamin receives invite to Vegas for the exclusive Jayson Tatum Elite Camp! Having already added 10lbs of muscle this offseason, the Bearcats wing is checking all the boxes for a massive sophomore jump!
