Another Bearcat is headed to the NBA.
Baba Miller was selected 36th overall by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2026 NBA Draft, becoming the 58th player in Cincinnati basketball history to hear his name called on draft night. The Mallorca, Spain native, of the Balearic Islands, leaves Cincinnati after putting together one of the most complete individual seasons the program has seen in over a decade.

Baba Miller also became the first Bearcat since Oscar Robertson in 1960 to lead the team in points, rebounds, and assists in a single season. He finished second in the Big 12 with 13 double-doubles, proving to be one of the conference’s most versatile players on both ends of the floor. A true two-way player.
Before arriving at Cincinnati, Miller spent two seasons at Florida State 2022-24, where he earned ACC Academic Honor Roll recognition, before transferring to Florida Atlantic for the 2024-25 season. There, he earned AAC Second Team All-Conference honors before making the move to Clifton.

What makes Miller an intriguing NBA prospect is his unique skill set. At 6’10”, he has the ability to guard multiple positions, switch onto smaller players on the perimeter, and still protect the paint. He’s also at his best in transition, where he has a surprisingly good handle package and can finish in the open floor.
The biggest area for growth will be his three-point shooting. If Miller can become a more consistent three-point shooter, there’s every reason to believe he’ll stick in the NBA for a long time. The upside is undeniable, and his ability to impact the game as a true two-way player, makes him a perfect prospect.
