Meet the Bearcat Writers:
Michael Boston

Lifelong Cincinnati sports fan.
Bearcats, Bengals, Reds, and FCC
While not a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, I spent a great deal of my childhood and upper teen years on and around campus.
Sneaking into the Shoemaker Center to watch the late 90’s Bob Huggins teams with my brother’s duplicate student ID will always be some of my favorite memories.
Making the 40 minute drive down on weekday nights from Trenton, OH with my HS friends just so we could kick FGs under the lights at Nippert Stadium or play soccer under the Sheakley lights are also core memories of mine and helped build and solidify my love for the school.
If you follow me on Twitter, you’re aware that I often live and die with the results of my Bearcats. Needless to say I’m pretty excited to get another shot at writing more about them on this site.
Today I live in NE Ohio. Father of two boys that share my love for the city and school. We make it back to Cincinnati as often as possible. Though my oldest son would tell you we don’t come as often as he would like.
Big Skyline Chili family. Graeters is the best ice cream on the planet. Firm believer Cincinnati is one of the greatest cities on earth.
Excited to be here.
Noah Crigler
I’m a lifelong college basketball fanatic from Northern Kentucky with deep roots in the sport. My family connection to the game runs through my great-uncle, John Crigler, who played on the legendary “Fiddlin’ Five” University of Kentucky teams under Adolph Rupp and helped capture a national championship.
Despite that Kentucky connection, my heart has always belonged to Cincinnati Bearcats athletics. My love for the University of Cincinnati began as a kid listening to my dad tell stories about the glory years of Bob Huggins and grew even stronger during the Mick Cronin era. Some of my favorite Bearcats over the years include Sean Kilpatrick, Gary Clark, Deonta Vaughn, and Jarron Cumberland.
My friends often joke that I’m a college basketball “sicko”. I love diving into recruiting, tracking prospects, uncovering every detail I can find, and following the future of the program. Whether it’s breaking down a new commitment, analyzing roster construction, or discussing the latest recruiting developments, I’m always eager to talk Bearcats basketball.
I’m also a proud father, with my son turning one this year. I can’t wait to bring him to Fifth Third Arena and Nippert Stadium in the coming years, just as my father did with me.
I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to work alongside Michael Boston and Hunter Samson and contribute coverage/write for fellow Bearcats fans. Feel free to reach out on X or social media anytime. I always love talking ball with fellow Bearcats fans!
