Indiana plays it’s second game Thursday evening in Assembly Hall. The game is streamed on Peacock, but there is a chance it is also on NBC Sports Network.

Bellarmine lost 93-47 to an explosive Vanderbilt team on Monday. Indiana is favored by BartTorvik by 31.3 points, meaning they must win by 32 to move up in the rankings. Bellarmine is known for their motion style offense that features a lot of cutting off the ball. How Indiana’s defense responds to this style of play could be a barometer for how the Hoosiers will fare when they travel to Iowa in December.
Darren Harris
Harris did not have his best game offenseivly against EIU, but his presence on the court was still noticeable. He looked like a guy trying to figure out what his role was, but this did not affect his energy or effort, which is important on a team with so much talent. I expect him to continue this against Bellarmine.
Aiden Sherrell
Sherrell is still trying to find his offensive game so far this year. However, this is a function of opponent, not necessarily him. Against smaller teams, his advantage is in the post. With Samet Yigitoglu on the block for most of the game, it is hard for him to get space down low. When Indiana plays against bigger teams, his ability to shoot from outside will be much more prominent.
Indiana should comfortably move to 2-0 tonight in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. With the game against Syracuse looming on Monday, this is Indiana’s last chance to iron out kinks before they take on an opponent who can punish them for mistakes.
