Victory Parkway continues to thrive, and Musketeer Athletics are constantly in action. In this week’s edition, there are a total of nine teams included. Starting with Men’s Golf!
Athlete of the Week: Gerard Lorente (Men’s Soccer)
Men’s Golf
The Musketeers competed at the Rod Myers Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, finishing sixth out of 13 teams. Kellen Dean was Xavier’s best golfer, posting a 142 (-2). He tied for 20th in the event.
Looking ahead, the team competes in The Indy at Forest Hills on Friday.
Men’s Soccer
Xavier had a 2-0 week at home, starting with a 6-0 win over Wright State on Tuesday.

On Saturday, they took down Villanova 2-0.

The Musketeers are now 6-0-2 on the year.
This week, the Musketeers host Marquette Friday.
Men’s Tennis
The Musketeers competed at the UTR Sports College Circuit on Friday-Sunday. Results were not available at the time of publishing.
Volleyball
Xavier hosted both Georgetown and Villanova this weekend, beating Georgetown 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 27-25) and Villanova 3-2 (25-11, 28-30, 21-25, 25-22, 15-11).
Macy Hatkevich led the team in both assists (38) and digs (17) against Villanova. She also led in assists against Georgetown with 28.
Women’s Golf
The Musketeers competed in the Fighting Irish Classic over the weekend, finishing sixth out of 14 teams. Isabel Brozena posted a runner-up finish, shooting a 212 (-1).
Looking ahead, the team participates at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate Friday-Sunday this week.
Women’s Soccer
They traveled to Georgetown on Saturday for their lone game of the week, picking up a 4-3 win in their conference opener.
Goals: Nastassja Garrett (25′), Reese Sochacki (39′), Peyton Kohls (46′), Kieran Bradley (69′)
Assists: Regan Dancer (69′)
They have improved to 7-2 on the year.
Looking ahead to this week, the Musketeers host DePaul (Wednesday) and Seton Hall (Saturday).
Baseball
Xavier traveled to East Lansing to take on Michigan State for an exhibition game on Sunday. Results were not available from the game.
Swimming
The Musketeers compete against Louisville on Friday and head to the IU Indy Invitational Saturday.
Cross Country
The team competes at the Louisville Cross Country Classic this Saturday.
