Jerome transferred into Xavier after 2 seasons with Indiana. While at X, he quickly became a popular player with his growth year over year. His final year as a Muskie, he was a key player on the team who went to the NCAA tournament. He also saved Xavier’s 2022-23 NCAA tournament run with a legendary 24 point performance in the opening round of the NCAAT against upset-minded Kennesaw State. Professional
Jerome spent last year with Swans Gmunden where they went 19-9. He scored 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game last season while adding a steal per game over 28 games. He played 4 games in the Austrian Superliga playoffs, averaging 18/9/2. Swans finished 2nd in the league last year, just 2 games behind champion Kapfenberg Bulls. Jerome was the 5th highest scorer and 4th highest rebounder in the league last year. Additionally, he was the most efficient player in the entire league.
Jerome shined in his first year of European basketball last year, and will be looking to help bring championships to his team. Chelbasket finished 2nd in the regular season before winning the playoffs last year. This is just their 5th year in existence; however, they have 1 regular season title and last year’s playoff title. They are a team on the come-up in the 2nd tier of the Russian basketball pyramid. While Jerome is moving from the top tier of Austrian basketball to the 2nd tier of Russian hoops, it is still a significant step up in talent and international notoriety.
