As his interest and expertise grew, so did his vision, evolving into a broader ambition to build a fan-run, fan-focused sports media platform. From that vision, Sansom Sports Media was established! Here, you’ll find a highly motivated and passionate owner/operator committed to delivering the comprehensive, engaging sports coverage fans expect and deserve. Hunter is based in Northern Kentucky, which is reflected in the NKY Bracketology branding and Cincinnati skyline in the logo. His proximity to some of the nation’s premier basketball programs provides him with a unique opportunity to engage directly with the sport at a high level. However, he grew frustrated by the apparent disconnect between traditional media outlets and the everyday fan. Hunter is committed to producing content that is both accessible and interactive, giving fans a voice in the conversation.

Michael Gross has been with Sansom Sports Media since its Infancy, and his years of covering sports have been an invaluable addition to the team. Michael is from Chicago, Ill. He has been a dedicated sports fan for nearly 3 decades. He grew up watching the Jordan-led Chicago Bulls finish off their second 3-peat in the 1990s. As time went on, he grew to follow the rest of the Chicago sports as well as National Sports. His recent focus has been on doing an NCAA Bid Watch, predicting which teams will qualify for the NCAA Tournament. He has been doing this for nearly a decade now. He also follows MLB quite closely and has developed an MLB version of College basketball Bid Watch. He doesn’t stop there, though! He also follows both pro and College football as well. As much as Michael loves his Chicago teams, you will find a very objective opinion from his mouth and penmanship when it comes to local and national teams.

He returns for his second year of Bracketology, delivering weekly seed lists and must-see graphics all season long. From the gridiron to the hardwood, Charlie covers CFB and the biggest stories in sports. We’re excited to have his energy and insight on the team!
