“Near Lock”

Last week Nova survived on the road against Xavier before falling at home against UConn. Had Nova beating UConn they’d be a 🔒 right now. As it is; they are still in very good shape and could seal a bid if they beat Butler and St. John’s this week. They could probably seal it just by beating St. John’s. If the Wildcats lose both games; I’ll be a little nervous. However, with resume metrics all above 30; it’ll take a complete collapse for them to possibly miss.

“Bubble”

Honestly, last week really wasn’t good for Seton Hall. They lost at home to DePaul and then barely beat Georgetown in an ugly offensive game. 3 games left in the regular season. They host St. John’s and play UConn and Xavier on the road. They need to go 2-1 minimum just to have a chance. That still might not be enough. They really need to beat UConn if they want to be a 🔒 before the BE Tournament.

There’s no other drama in the Big East. I think Creighton, Butler, Xavier, throw in Georgetown or Providence if you want are all auto-bid or bust at this point.
