         Vandy’s 3 straight wins have sealed their bid to the NCAA Tournament. They have great resume metrics and are 6-3 in Q1 with 0 losses outside of Q1.

“Near Lock”

          Florida blew out SC and Bama last week as they get closer and closer to getting a chance to repeat as NCAA Champions. They get A&M and Georgia next on the road. Any win would have them on the doorstep of a bid.

        Tennessee has now won 4 in a row as they inch closer to a bid. They get Kentucky and Miss St. on the road next. Winning either would put them one win away and if they can win both; that’ll do it!

        Speaking of Kentucky, they had a nice week last week. They went to Arkansas and won and followed that up with a comfortable win at home over OU. They get Tennessee at home this weekend. A win there would have the Wildcats 1 win away. 

        Alabama had an up and down week. They got clobbered by the Gators before narrowly defeating Texas A&M at home. They are still very much on track for a bid. Next up they travel to Auburn and Ole Miss. If they win either game that will keep them trending towards sealing a bid. 

       Arkansas had their own up and down week. They went to Oklahoma and won by 4 before coming home and losing to Kentucky. They are still in fine shape. They can seal a bid by beating LSU and Miss St. on the road.

“Good Shape”

         Texas A&M had a really solid previous two games. They went on the road and got out to a huge lead over Georgia before holding off a Bulldogs rally. Then the Aggies nearly took down Alabama in Birmingham. A&M is now much closer to “Near Lock” then the “bubble”. If they beat either Florida or Missouri at home coming up that might move them up. If they win both they’ll even get a review for 🔐 status!

         Auburn is doing what they need to do to make the NCAA Tournament. A win in either of their next two games against Bama or Vandy will move them up.

“Bubble”

        It’s been a rough stretch for Georgia recently. They’ve lost 3 straight including 2 at home. They really need to beat either LSU on the road or Florida at home. If they don’t, things get tense real quick. 

        Missouri narrowly defeated Miss St. at home to keep their hopes alive. They must beat SC this weekend and it sure would help if they can follow that up by winning at Texas A&M.

        Texas has won 2 straight to keep their hopes going. They need to make it 3 by beating Ole Miss this weekend.

“Fringe Bubble”

         Ole Miss, LSU and Miss St. all have very little chance to make it. All of them just about have to win out to make it.
