Wednesday night saw absolute carnage along the bubble!

Cincinnati effectively ended the hopes of an at-large bid for Baylor, beating the Bears in Dan Skillings’ return to Cincy.

Among bubble winners was Seton Hall, who came back from way down vs. Xavier at home to win. SHU among final teams in or first teams out.

Tennessee takes down Georgia in overtime after some low-IQ decisions down the stretch of the extra period. UT inches closer to the 5 line, but stays a 6. Georgia remains an 8 seed.

Auburn beats Texas 88-82 in the Jungle. This result represents a massive missed opportunity for the Longhorns who took a 42-34 lead into halftime. Texas remains one of the final teams in the bracket, while Auburn is a 7.

St. John’s beats butler by 22 points behind 14 points and 13 boards from Dillon Mitchell. SJU remains a 5, Butler falls back a bit in the bubble picture, but this loss isn’t going to crush them.

Iowa survives a tough test from USC to win. USC remains a 9, while Iowa moves up a spot or two on the 8 line.

Florida State beats California in a key matchup along the bubble. Cal had been climbing kind of quietly, but now, the Bears will fall well short of out. Florida State remains without a real shot at a bid.

Mississippi State beats LSU behind a 44-21 first half in Baton Rouge. This is a brutal loss for LSU’s at-large hopes. Mississippi State remains well out.

Florida dominates South Carolina in a game that was never close. UF is a 4/5 seed right now.

Utah State rolls to victory over Wyoming, helping steady the Aggies on the 10 line.

Houston survives a tough test from TCU and continues their push towards a 1 seed.

Wisconsin comes back from down 19 to beat Minnesota in Madison. This is the kind of win that helps keep a team in the tournaemnt comfortably!

Miami (fl) comes back from a 5 point halftime deficit to beat Stanford in Miami! This result keeps Miami in around an 8/9 while pushing Stanford even further out.

San Diego State dominated Colorado State to push them more clearly into the field.

Santa Clara beats San Francisco in a fun one. Santa Clara pushes closer to the bubble.

UCLA beats Oregon to stay barely in the field!

USF takes care of Tulane in NOLA to keep their hopes for an at-large and an American regular season title alive!

Illinois State beats Murray State by 5 in a crucial MVC matchup!

Tulsa wins over UNT to move to 6-2 in American play!

George Mason beats Davidson to keep their slim hopes alive of a bid.

Colgate beats Holy Cross to improve to 7-2 and close to the top of the Patriot league.

Navy beats Boston in Boston to improve to 8-1 in the Patriot League and retain the lead!

Oakland beats Purdue Fort Wayne, helping put more distance between the top 2 teams in the Horizon league and the rest of the field!

I won’t lie, Thursday is a bit of a Sicko’s slate with a ton of mid-major action and not a lot of NCAA touranemnt caliber action. That being said, these teams are still good, and the games will still be extremely entertaining! Make sure to tune in!
