Oklahoma and Arkansas come down to the wire with Acuff hitting a clutch layup with 21 seconds left to pull ahead. Arky a 5, OU is well out.

UCF comes back to beat Arizona State, avoiding a loss that would’ve been disastrous. UCF – 7/8.

NC State dominates Syracuse, winning by 20 in an impressive performance at home. NCSU likely a 9 pending upward movement in the metrics.

UConn survives a TOUGH test vs. Providence at home, winning by 6. UConn remains 3 overall.UC one is the first team in 7 years to start 10-0!

Alabama dismantles Missouri 90-64. Alabama remains a 5 for now.

Robbie Avila “It’s What I Do, let’s go home” SLU → 7 seed currently. SLU is now 20-1!

Virginia Tech survives a test from GT, keeping VT as one of the last teams in.

West Virginia wins a rock fight vs. KSU. Suddenly the Mountaineers have life along the bubble!

Indiana upsets Purdue at home. IU is now very close to the bracket. Purdue’s a 3/4.

Vanderbilt beats UK by 25 in a dominant performance. UK down to a 8. Vandy stays a 3/4.

Marquette beats Creighton. The Bluejays now have an extremely tough road ahead.

Nevada beats GCU in OT! This felt like a game where the loser no longer had a real shot.

UNM dominates UNLV to continue building their resume!

Wednesday’s Slate:

Baylor @ Cincinnati | 6:30, FS1

The return of Dan Skillings to Cincinnati, so of course this had to make its way here! Should be a fun game, even if not relevant to the NCAAT.

Xavier @ Seton Hall | 7:00, Peacock

This is a can’t lose game for the Pirates, who are suddenly on the outside looking in of the tournament picture. SHU is among the first 4 out right now and favored by 7.5.

Butler @ St. John’s | 7:00, Peacock

SJU barely survived their trip to Cincinnati this weekend and are riding high after coach Pitino’s 900th win. However, Butler brings the kind of team who can bring a team back to earth. The Bulldogs would likely move into the bracket with a win. SJU is a 5 heading into this one and is favored by 12.5.

Davidson @ George Mason | 7:00, CBSSN

This is a really important matchup for the 2 bid A-10 hopes. George Mason cannot take a home loss like this and have any shot. They’re favored by 7.5.

Charlotte @ Temple | 7:00, ESPN+

This is a battle of 5-2 teams in the American conference, and it should be close! Temple is favored by 4.5 at home.

USC @ Iowa | 7:00, BTN

How does USC handle traveling to the brutal cold of Iowa City? We’re going to find out! Iowa is favored by 10.5. The winner here will be in a much better spot overall for their NCAAA tournament hopes. The loser will be a 9 seed at best.

Holy Cross @ Colgate | 7:00, ESPN+

Colgate is 6-2 in conference and looking to keep pace with Navy

American @ Loyola Maryland | 7:00, ESPN+

American is 6-2 and also looking to keep pace with Navy.

Navy @ Boston | 7:00, ESPN+

Navy is 7-1 in conference and leading the way right now, however, this is a tough test and Boston is good. Navy is favored by just 1.5.

Cal @ Florida State | 7:00, ACCN

This is a massive matchup for Cal. The Bears are close to the bracket, but not quite there. This is the kind of game that hurts an overall resume and the benefit is minimal overall. FSU is well out of the tournament without a real shot, but is favored by 2.5 here.

Oakland @ Purdue Fort Wayne | 7:00, ESPN+

This matchup in the Horizon League features the 2nd and 3rd place teams in the conference. PFW, with a victory would fully announce their presence as a contender the remainder of the year! Oakland favored by 1.5.

Mississippi State @ LSU | 7:00, SECN+

MSST is well out of the field without a real shot. LSU is now well out and must win this or things get very tenuous in Baton Rouge.

Tennessee @ Georgia | 7:00, SECN

This matchup in Athens is critical for both teams. UT comes in after the big win over Bama and a 6 seed, while Georgia is kind of just holding steady on the 7/8/9 area. Georgia is favored by 1.5 coming into this one.

Texas @ Auburn | 7:00, ESPN2

Suddenly, this matchup has some juice! Texas is in my last 4 in, while Auburn is a 7 seed. They’re both fighting around the middle of the conference and looking to get a leg up. The Tigers are favored by 6.5 in Neville Arena.

Central Arkansas @ Queens & Austin Peay @ EKU | 7:00, ESPN+

Both Queens and Austin Peay are 7-1 on the year and looking to continue their hot starts. Both teams come in favored as well.

North Texas @ Tulsa | 8:00, ESPN+

Tulsa continues to trend towards the top of the American, this is the kind of game that conference champs have to have, especially at home.

Houston @ TCU | 9:00, ESPN2

Houston is dominating play right now, however, conference mid-week road games are tough. Will this one cause issues for Houston? We will find out! The Cougs go into Fort Worth favored by 7.5. Houston → 2 seed, TCU → Bubble, OUT.

Florida @ South Carolina | 9:00, SECN

Florida just took a loss to Auburn, kind of cooling them off at this time. South Carolina has snuck up on a couple of teams this year, can Florida avoid the road lapse? Gators are currently a 5 for me.

Wyoming @ Utah State | 9:00, CBSSN

Utah State needs to start passing the ole “eye test” a bit better against these lower level teams in the conference. Can USU get it done tonight in a matchup they’re favored by 12.5 in? Aggies are a 10 seed currently.

Illinois State @ Murray State | 9:00, ESPN+

This might be the biggest game of MVC year so far. Illinois State is playing catchup, while Murray State Raced out to a lead and haven’t given it up… yet. Murray is favored by 33.5.

South Florida @ Tulane | 9:00, ESPNU

USF is clearly in the conference picture at this time, Tulane isn’t an easy win, so this will be tough. Bulls are favored by 7.5.

Minnesota @ Wisconsin | 9:00, BTN

Wisconsin has suddenly surged all the way up to a 9 seed, while Minnesota just cannot get over the hump and into the field. This is a big opportunity for them, but also big for the Badgers to defend home court. They’re favored by 8.5.

Stanford @ Miami (FL) | 9:00, ACCN

The Hurricanes are favored by 9.5 over fellow bubble team Stanford. Miami is clearly in a better spot right now, and will look to jump towards the 8 line with a win. Stanford is currently next 4 out and this would be a huge win to get them close.

Colorado State @ San Diego State | 10:30, FS1

Just ask Utah State, Colorado State isn’t a pushover by any means, and they will come ready to compete! SDSU is currently a 10 and projected to win by 8.5.

San Francisco @ Santa Clara | 11:00, CBSSN

This matchup is monumental for Santa Clara. USF isn’t a bad team, but this game at home would not be a good loss, so SC has to win this. Santa Clara is currently my 3rd team out.

UCLA @ Oregon | 11:00, BTN

Right now, UCLA appears to have gotten themselves back on track. Oregon is spiraling, and UCLA should win this one. However, conference games are never easy. UCLA is favored by 4.5 on the road.
