Last night saw a handful of impactful games!

Duke rolled past Louisville at home. Duke → 1 seed. Louisville in the middle of the bracket.

Ohio State survives injuries & beats Penn State at home. OSU 10/11.

Arizona holds on to beat BYU on the road! Did we discover a weakness of the Wildcats when BYU pressured them? BYU 3. AZ 1 overall.

Tuesday’s Slate brings all the heat you need to stay warm right now!

Alabama A&M @ Prairie View A&M & Alabama State @ Texas Southern | 2:00

We’ve got a pair of 3-3 vs. 3-4 matchups here, and they’re afternoon games! Should be a fun way to spend the afternoon.

Michigan State @ Rutgers | 6:30, FS1

This should be a runway for Sparty before they turn their attention to Michigan, however, this could be a trap if MSU is looking past them. MSU a 2/3 right now.

Nebraska @ Michigan | 7:00, Peacock

Game of the week… and it’s on Peacock?! I love it! The Wolverines are favored by 10.5 right now which feels like way too much. Winner gets a 1 seed, loser is a 2. Can Nebraska continue to prove all the haters wrong?

Arkansas @ Oklahoma | 7:00, ESPN

1-7 in SEC play is likely too steep of a deficit for Oklahoma to get back from, and I’m not saying that 2-6 is really much better, but a win over Arkansas would give them some life along the bubble. For Arkansas, right now, they’re projecting as a 5 seed. Arky comes into Norman favored by 2.5.

Virginia @ Notre Dame | 7:00, ESPN2

Notre Dame has been close to picking off a couple of teams this year, but is just 2-5 in conference play. I expect UVA to win, and they’re favored by 7.5 here. UVA comes in projected as a 4.

Richmond @ VCU | 7:00, CBSSN

VCU is 5-2 in the A-10 and looking to keep pace with SLU. This is a game they need to do that. Favored by 10.5.

Rhode Island @ Dayton | 7:00, ESPN+

Almost exactly the same thing I said about VCU applies here. Dayton has to have this.

Arizona State @ UCF | 7:00, ESPN+

The Sun Devils are well outside of the bracket right now, however, UCF is currently around an 8 seed. This is the kind of game they need to avoid being further into the bubble. UCF is favored by 8.5.

Syracuse @ NC State | 7:00, ESPNU

Syracuse has shown the ability to compete with tournament level teams, especially when home, however NC State has shown a tendency to allow non-tournament teams to hang around in Raleigh. This matchup currently projects as a 10+ point game, however, this feels sneaky for the Wolfpack who are a 10 seed right now.

Toledo @ Akron | 7:00, ESPN+

Teams continue to chase Miami (OH) in the MAC right now, and Akron is clearly the closest to catching them. This matchup will feature a ton of points and is vital in the MAC race.

Providence @ UConn | 7:30, TNT/truTV

Can the Friars put it together and upset the Huskies? UConn has been playing with their food pretty frequently recently, and this is the kind of matchup that is pivotal for them to continue rolling on the 1 line. They’re favored by 16.5.

George Washington @ Saint Louis | 8:00, ESPN+

This is the kind of matchup that allows SLU to continue to prove it to people who aren’t aware of them. It also presents one of the harder games in A-10 play for the Billikens. They’re favored by 10.5 here.

Missouri @ Alabama | 8:00, SECN

Alabama is showing improvement, but continues to be up and down so far in SEC play at just 3-3. This matchup is the kind of game that they should win easily (favored by 10.5). However, Missouri is competitive and this should be fun. Missouri is currently out while Alabama is currently a 5.

Georgia Tech @ Virginia Tech | 8:00, ACCN

The Hokies cannot lose this. These are the kinds of losses that keep you out of the bracket come March. VT projecting as one of my last 4 in currently and are favored by 9.5.

Kansas State @ West Virginia | 8:30, FS1

WVU is just on the edge of the fringe bubble picture right now, and KSU is pretty clearly out right now. WVU cannot afford to lose this if they want a chance.

Purdue @ Indiana | 9:00, Peacock

Could Purdue lose back to back? Does IU have a real shot at making the field? Those two questions go hand in hand right now. IU can make it even with a loss here, however, this would be a monumental home win. Purdue is looking to rebound after losing to Illinois this weekend. Purdue is favored by 4.5 in Assembly Hall and project as a 2/3.

Kentucky @ Vanderbilt | 9:00, ESPN

Monumental matchup for both teams season. UK is suddenly HOT, and Vandy is trying to regain its footing after a 3 game skid and then beating Mississippi State. UK is projecting as a 7 while Vandy projects as a 4. T

Mass @ Miami (OH) | 9:00, ESPNU

The RedHawks get to be on TV tonight, and deservedly so at 20-0. This is a massive opportunity for them to show the nation why they’re ranked & 20-0! Mass will look to play spoiler, however!

Creighton @ Marquette | 9:30, TNT/truTV

If Creighton wants any real hope of making the tournament, they need this one. Currently they’re well out of the field.

Grand Canyon @ Nevada | 10:30, FS1

Huge MWC matchup, with the loser having practically no shot at making the at-large field. However, the winner will start inching much closer to the bubble!

New Mexico @ UNLV | 11:00, CBSSN

The Lobos project as one of my final teams in the field right now, and this matchup is critical to them keeping that hope alive. A loss here would push them out. A win, however, might get them above the last 4 in.

What game are you looking forward to the most tonight?
