This week’s initial CFP rankings reveal is below. I’ve also added the results for each team to ensure we keep an idea of how teams are trending. The close result from Indiana and Penn State this week will open the window for A&M to jump up a spot. I also do believe BYU will fall back a couple spots after getting killed by Tech. Look for the ACC to get even more confusing as a result of a couple of key upsets! I expect, that we will be seeing a g5 team or two jump up into the rankings this week as well!

With a total of 6 teams who appeared in the rankings last week losing, we are headed for some shakeups on Tuesday! My bracket projection is the header image for this article, and I have updated the elimination tracker below!
| Conference | SEC | Big Ten | ACC | Big 12 | G5 | IND |
| Playoff Frontrunner | Texas A&M Alabama Georgia Ole Miss | Indiana Ohio State Oregon | Georgia Tech | Texas Tech | JMU | Notre Dame |
| Bubble | Oklahoma Texas Vanderbilt | Michigan USC | Virginia Louisville Miami (FL) Pittsburgh | BYU Utah Cincinnati Houston | South Florida North Texas Memphis | |
| So you’re telling me there’s a chance: | Navy |
This week was very positive overall for the SEC and the Big Ten, Oregon and Indiana tried to ruin it, but held on. Right now, 3 bids feels like the most likely outcome, but we have to get to 12 teams somehow. The SEC top end continues to bulldoze opponents and I would be shocked if we see less than 4 bids from the SEC.
The Big 12 got even more interesting this weekend with Texas Tech throttling BYU. I expected Tech to win, but the manner of how the game went was surprising to me. I will tenatively pick Tech to iwn the conference. The best case for the Big 12 would be for BYU and tech to meet again and BYU to win in a close one. If not, this league could be headed for a 1 bid league. Utah/Cincinnati/Houston are all also still in play to make some noise!

For the ACC, I have no idea what to make of this conference. I am confident it’s going to be a 1 bid league based off of the initial release, and right now, I have no idea who to pick for first. I’ll place Georgia Tech there as they are 8-1 and the only team with 1 loss.
